Revelation 7: 1-9- God's Planning for the End Times

Read Revelation 7: 1-9- God has a plan for the end times.  That is no great revelation but when you look at what God will accomplish d uring this time, it is really amazing to see what is important to Him.   When reading verses 3 and 4 we see this, “...saying ‘ Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads. ’ And I heard the number of those who were sealed.  One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed.” God wants these missionaries to be loosed on the world to bring His message to everyone prior to the great day of His coming.  God wants all to accept Him and to spend eternity in His presence.  That is His love for all of us.  We need to only accept Him as our Lord.

Revelation 6: 12-17- The Awesome Power of God

Read Revelation 6: 12- 17- As I read this brief passage, I see the hand of an almighty God controlling the weather of the earth and the heavens above us.   In verses 15 through 17 we read, “And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks ,   f all on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!  For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand? We live our lives many times responding to weather conditions.  Scientists have tried to find ways to alter weather, to affect storms and rain and nothing has worked.  We want to control everything in our lives and everything that impacts our lives, but we have never been able to impact the weather.   In this passage we see the great leaders of the world cowering in fear because of h...

Revelation 6: 11- Believing in Christ

Revelation 6: 11-   “Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.” During the end times, people will die.  Believers will die.  We see this addressed in this one verse.   We have people today, some are pastors of churches, who are preaching and spreading the word that God is love and there is no level of j udgment for people.  There is judgment. There are some hard things that will happen to some good people.  That is why we should continue to have faith in God and know His plan will give us an eternity of peace.  Our job is to believe in Jesus Christ and know He will provide the love and peace we need in our lives now and in eternity.
