Matthew 11: 25-30- Rest
Read Matthew 11: 25- 30- I've heard it said, “Life is hard and then you die.” That’s an abrupt way to look at life but a life without knowing Jesus Christ can look that way. It can feel that way. In this last chapter, Jesus prayed to God and then He said this to all of us in verses 28 through 30 , “ Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in hear t , and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” This is a famous passage pastors like to refer to when people are having stressful times. I can attest when times are trying, and we need this rest , Jesus will definitely be there to give us peace and rest. Jesus never said life was simple . There is nothing about life that is simple. He did tell us He would be able to provide peace and rest for us when we need it. He will bring us rest if we learn through our daily walk with him to trust ...
