Matthew 5: 9- The Peacemakers
Matthew 5:9- “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” How many people do you know who consider themselves peacemakers? The reason I ask that question is because our society needs more peacemakers. There appears to be growing strife in our society and polarization between different groups of people . There is conflict within families. Peace is something we need in our worlds and we need it in our souls. The Holy Spirit will provide us with the words to say and the actions to take to help us become peacemakers in the span of influence we have. This is another thing Jesus would have us be a ware because we will not always know when we need to step into the role of peacemaker. This is not always an easy task to achieve but it is obviously one of great importan ce since Jesus is making it part of his message to all of us in how we should live our lives.
