Mark 4: 30-33- The Mustard Seed
Read Mark 4: 30-33- We do not understand big when it comes to God. In verses 30, 31 and 32 Jesus said, “…With what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable shall we use for it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when sown on the ground, is the smallest see of all seeds on earth, yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes larger than the garden plants and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade.” I should be about planting seeds of the message of Jesus Christ. This can look like many things in many ways but I need to be putting the seed out and know the Holy Spirit will do the rest. I need to be mindful of this every day and know that every day is a planting day. Proverbs 5: 1-2- My son, be attentive to my wisdom; incline your ear to my understanding, (2) that you may keep discretion, and your lips may guard knowledge.
