Luke 8: 26-40- Be Ready To Testify
Read Luke 8:26- 40- Jesus met the needs of people. The man who was demon possess ed recognized Jesus for who He was. In verses 38 and 39, we learn how Jesus wants us to respond when He moves in our lives, ‘(38) Now the man from whom the demons had departed begged Him that he might be with Him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, “Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you.” And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.’ We must stay ready to testify about Jesus’ work in our lives. As Jesus directed the man who was no longer demon possessed , we need to go and tell and not rest on what Jesus has done for us. Proverbs 13: 5- A righteous man hates lying, but a wicked man is loathsome and comes to shame.
