Matthew 11: 20-24- Committment

Read Matthew 11: 20- 24-

This passage was a warning for the people who were alive when Jesus walked the earth and saw his works and heard his message. I see it as a warning for me. Verse 21 says, “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.”

Through my life, I have seen the hand of God moving in my life and in the lives of others. I have felt God’s guidance through reading the Bible and through recognizing the activities happening around me. To deny Jesus Christ would bring the same judgment that Jesus spoke of about the entire cities that did not recognize who He was. As we progress through life, we need to remember what we have learned in reading the Bible and what we have seen in our lives so we will progress in our lives with Christ and not regress.  We have that choice to make.
