Matthew 20:29-34- Being Persistent

Read Matthew 20: 29-34-

Sometimes we need to be persistent. The two blind men in this story would not allow those around them to quiet them because they had faith Jesus would be able to heal them. Verse 31 says, ‘The crowd rebuked them, telling them to be silent, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!”’

Jesus heard the two blind men and healed them from their blindness. Part of our servanthood to others may be to help those who are crying out for help to be heard. We also may need to be persistent in our prayers for others if for no other reason than to gain strength to go through trials or problems that may confront someone day-to-day.
