Mark 9: 42- Christian Responsibility

Mark 9: 42-

“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.”

There is nothing unclear about what Jesus is saying. We, as Christians, have a responsibility to other people and especially to other who believe in Jesus, to not misguide younger Christians who are not as rooted in Biblical principles. This gives me the motivation I need to continue to learn about Jesus and Biblical teachings. I need to be careful not to base any statements or beliefs in things “I think” may be a specific belief or principle. I need to work to base by worldview on what Jesus has provided to me in His Word.  This is a high responsibility.

Proverbs 9:10- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
