Luke 13: 18-21- How Big Is God?

Luke 13: 18-21-

He said therefore, “What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his garden, and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches.” And again, he said, “To what shall I compare the kingdom of God? It is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, until it was all leavened.””

Ask yourself a question, how big is God? Jesus is trying to get us to understand the enormity of God. It takes a small effort on our parts to see God do huge things in our lives. Many impactful organizations have accomplished much for the kingdom of God when just one person felt God would have them do something for Him. God blesses the work done for Him. This kind of work focused on bringing people to a knowledge of Christ permeates more than what we can see. It moves through many people and shows people the love of God.

Proverbs 15:5- “A fool despises his father’s instruction, but whoever heeds reproof is prudent.”
